What is the Springboard Class in KIS ?
This class serves English speaking children between ages 5-11 who have a variety of disabilities. The programme offers a wide range of individual Educational Programmes which address the needs of each of the children, ensuring that child has the opportunity to reach his/her potential. Integration into mainstream classes is actively encouraged allowing the Springboard children to participate in regular classes with their fellow KIS pupils.
Springboard and KIS have formed a successful partnership, which continues to grow and benefits all members of the KIS community. To highlight this partnership the local television station TVB Pearl will be filming the Springboard students at KIS on 19th October.
The Springboard Programme is always a busy one and the children are involved in many exciting activities, such as horse riding and outdoor pursuits. The next adventure will be our annual camping trip in October. This is a 3-day trip to Lei Yue Mun, enjoyed by both staff and pupils.
